ZION LUTHERAN WALK A THON
Zion Lutheran’s K-8 students will be walking up to three miles on Monday, May 13th, to raise money for Zion Athletics and Mission 22 (an organization that supports veterans that suffer from PTSD and traumatic brain injury).
Due to inclement weather, Zion was unable to fully host its basketball tournament back in January. Since the tournament is usually the biggest fundraiser of the year, we need to raise some money. We would like to purchase new soccer uniforms, and this fundraiser will go a long way towards making that happen.
We will be using QGIV, an online giving platform. We’ve created accounts for each student. If you click the link below, you can search for your child by name. Once you go to his/her page, you can share that via email, text, Facebook, Instagram, or any other digital means. We’ve set a goal of $50 per student, so please share this as we support two worthy causes.
Here are a few prizes for motivation:
Top Class: Choice of Frosty Boy, Pizza, or Doughnuts
Top Individual: $50 Scrip Card
All Students that raise $50: Non Uniform Pass
$3000 Total: We will rent a dunk tank during the school picnic.
$5000 Total: Students will get to duct tape Pastor Taylor and Myself to the gym wall.
Thanks for your support!
