Dear Zion Lutheran Community,

For over a year, a dedicated team at Zion has been diligently working on The Master’s Plan. We are now ready to share our progress and invite you to join us for an important meeting at Zion on July 21st, 2024, at 2:30 PM. During this meeting, we will present and discuss The Master’s Plan in detail, allowing the congregation to decide on adopting the plan and moving forward with Phase 1.

As we continue, we invite you to walk alongside us in the following ways:

  • Prayer: Our journey began with prayer and continues to be guided by it. We encourage you to join us for special self-led prayer sessions from July 15th to 18th, held daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If you are unable to attend, please pray for Zion’s future at your convenience wherever you are located. In the days to come, we will be providing prayer cards to help guide you in your prayer. These will be available at the church and online as soon as possible.
  • Understanding: Our team has collected extensive input from members and stakeholders through surveys and meetings. It is essential to recognize that The Master’s Plan serves as a roadmap, with each phase carefully designed to accommodate future growth at Zion. Although subsequent phases may take decades to complete, Phase 1 has been prioritized to meet the immediate needs of Zion Lutheran. Please note that the drawings are conceptual and not final construction.
  • Review & Ask: Please take the time to review some of the drawings of our overall and phase 1 plans on our website. www.zionnewpal.org/mastersplan We also ask that if you have initial questions about these plans to submit a question online. This will help us address your concerns during our presentation.
  • Attend: Join us for the congregational meeting on July 21st to hear from our team about the plan and the motions being proposed. We will discuss the plan, the recommended Phase 1, financial planning, and the overall timeline. We look forward to your presence and participation.

Our team is excited to present the hard work we have undertaken, guided by His Master plan for Zion. We remain committed to our mission of Connecting Our Community to Christ and Making a Forever Difference Today.
